Barry Malina, DO, DO(H)

Barry D. Malina, D.O., graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1974 with a B.A. in biology. He attended the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated Cum Laude in 1984. He served his internship at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, New Jersey, from 1984-1985 and did his Family Practice Residency through Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, New Jersey. He has practiced in Arizona since 1987 and has been in private practice since 1989.

Dr. Malina is board certified to perform Osteopathic manipulation by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He has a Certificate of Competency in Cranial Osteopathy from the Cranial Academy.

He is licensed to practice in the state of Arizona and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association, and the Cranial Academy. He served as a preceptor in Osteopathic manipulation for the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he taught for eight years and became a Clinical Assistant Professor in Manipulative Medicine.

Dr. Malina’s philosophy is to accept only those patients that he feels he can help and will refer those who need other care.
